University of Wollongong Art Collection (UOWAC)
The University of Wollongong Art Collection comprises over 3500 individual works located throughout all UOW campuses. The collection includes paintings, prints, ceramics, textiles and sculptures by eminent Australian artists such as Lloyd Rees, Arthur Boyd, Judy Watson and Emily Kngwarreye. The collection also includes a number of sculptures located externally throughout the University grounds and a significant number of Aboriginal works on paper.
The collection offers students, staff and visitors the opportunity to interact, enjoy and appreciate artwork placed in their social and working environments.

Please note, the University’s Art Collection is currently limited in its staffing capacity. Artwork requests are being prioritised and a waiting period of six to eight months applies.

A Place for Art
A Place for Art charts the 40 year history of the UOWAC, arguably one of the most accessible and diverse public art collections in the country.
The eighty page publication features seventy-one full colour reproductions of artworks celebrating the development of the UOW Art Collection.
