Accommodation in Wollongong
Wollongong has many accommodation options - from internationally branded hotels to boutique venues and self-contained apartments.
Regardless of where you stay, the local organising committee strongly recommends that you book and pay a deposit as soon as possible, as Wollongong has limited accommodation and major events can make it very difficult to find a place to stay.
If you choose to stay in the city or North Wollongong, free shuttle services are available to transport you to campus. For more information, see Location and Transport.
Listed below are a few recommended accommodation options. Destination Wollongong can also provide you with information and booking services for a wide range of hotels in the Wollongong region.
Beachside accommodation is available in both the city, and at North Wollongong.
Hotels in the city are a few blocks back from the beach, but are closer to the CBD and restaurants. Corrimal Street has a variety of eateries including Indian, Italian, Thai, Vietnamese, Lebanese and more.
North Wollongong has a small number of convenience stores, and restaurants, including two on the beach.
